The Income Tax department is set to launch a new system – ‘E-Nivaran’, an online platform for income tax grievances in India. This platform is a special electronic system to fast track all your tax related grievances and ensure speedy redressal of your complaints.

This E-Nivaran e-portal will ensure that your grievances related to any section of the tax department are transferred quickly to the concerned department like that of tax refunds, Issues related to PAN, wrong filing of tax return etc.

Upcoming E-Nivaran form will be a one page form, will mandatorily seek your name, PAN Number, email ID, mobile number at the time of filing so that you will be informed once your complaint is solved.

The ‘e-Nivaran’ (Online Grievance Monitoring System) form will be a paperless procedure. This system will be monitored by the Assessing Officer of the case up to the supervisory officers entirely in a paperless environment.

The E-Nivaran form can be either filed online on the official e-filing website of the Income tax department or by manually filing it at the Aaykar Sampark Kendra (ASK), which are located across 260 cities in India.  Once the E-Nivaran form gets submitted successfully, the department releases a ‘Unique Grievance ID’ which can be used by the taxpayers to quote for all future communications and also to track their complaints.
