State Bank Buddy is a Money Wallet App, which can be used to transfer money, to pay bills, to recharge your mobile and DTH, to book movie, flight and even bus tickets 24×7. State Bank Buddy can also be used to Ask Money from any of your mobile contacts even if they don’t have a State Bank account. State Bank Buddy can be downloaded from Google Play and Apple app store and it currently supports 13 Indian languages (Assamese,  English, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Tamil, Bengali, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Oriya, Telugu and Urdu).

How to Send Money using State Bank Buddy App?

Once download this app, you can use your mobile number or facebook credentials to login. 

Once registered, you have to add fund before using it for money transfer since it is a prepaid wallet. You can add money using three options 1) Net banking 2) Debit card and 3) IMPS

Once fund added to your State Bank Buddy Wallet:

1. Select recipient from your phone or from your Facebook contact to transfer the amount.

2. Enter the amount [per transaction limit is Rs. 2,000]

3. Enter the description for that transaction to submit for sending money

Sending money to “Registered Customers” [who already have a State Bank Buddy wallet] is simple and straight forward; you can directly type their name and send the amount and no second level authorization.

Sending money to “Non-Registered Customers”, you need to select the mobile number from phone book or Facebook or even you can directly enter to transfer the funds. For “Non-Registered Customers”, once you transferred the amount – a PASSCODE will be sent it to you. You need to share this confidential Code with the recipient so he/she can retrieve the amount using this code.

If the recipient does not accept the money in five days, then the amount will be credited back to your Buddy Wallet and a notification about this will be sent to you.
